Our
Mission Statement
Where as the church today lives in a non- Christian world; and whereas Christians
today find themselves living as resident aliens in this world, having our citizenship
in heaven, but fighting a war against Satan and his army here on earth; We the
members of the First Baptist Church of Grayson, GA hereby declare our purpose
and mission to be:
-obedience to Christ's command of the Great Commission through the personal involvement
of God's people in the whole person.
- to address the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of persons who are
currently without a daily experience with Christ.
Thus the First Baptist Church of Grayson, with the leadership of the Holy Spirit,
will strive to create disciples who live by the Sermon on the Mount, who love
others as Christ loves them, who are compelled by His love, who deny themselves
and bear their crosses daily;
Whereby the church becomes Christ's instrument of redemption and the bridge where
scripture and people meet.
