Meet Pastor Jason Kokenzie
A Renewed Vision for a Historic Church
Jason Kokenzie is the pastor of First Baptist Church of Grayson, stepping into this new season with a clear calling to help this historic church rediscover its mission and reach the Grayson community in a fresh way.
A native of Colorado, Jason has planted a church there and has walked alongside other churches through the process of revitalization. He and his family have now called Grayson home for eight years, and he loves this community deeply.
Jason is passionate about teaching God's Word clearly and helping people grow in genuine discipleship — real, intentional relationships where believers are equipped to know Christ, grow in their faith, and disciple others in turn. He believes a healthy church is marked by strong biblical foundations, real community, and a heart to reach its neighbors, and he's committed to leading FBCG toward exactly that.
Jason and his wife, Stacy, have four children and love doing life together as a family. He is honored to serve alongside the faithful people of First Baptist Church of Grayson and is excited about what God has in store for this church's future.
