First Baptist Church of Grayson has been part of this community for generations, and we believe God isn't finished with us here. As we step into a new season, we're recommitting ourselves to a simple, powerful calling: to love and reach the city of Grayson in a fresh way.
Our Calling
Grayson Is Our Jerusalem
In Jeremiah 29:7, God tells His people to seek the welfare of the city where He has placed them, because when the city flourishes, they flourish too. That's our heart for Grayson. We don't want to be a church that simply exists inside these walls — we want to be a church that spills out into the streets, neighborhoods, schools, and businesses around us.
Jesus calls His followers salt and light in Matthew 5:13–16, meaning we're meant to bring flavor and clarity to the world around us, not blend into the background. And in Acts 1:8, the gospel spreads first locally, in our own Jerusalem, before it ever reaches the ends of the earth. For us, Grayson is our Jerusalem.
