Minister is the step where you move from being served to serving. Ephesians 4:11-12 tells us that Christ gave leaders to the church to equip the saints for the work of ministry. That means ministry is not just for the pastor or the staff. It belongs to every believer. Each of us has been gifted by God to serve others (1 Peter 4:10).
What Minister Means
Minister is where you discover how God has uniquely gifted you and then put those gifts to work, both inside the church and out in the Grayson community.
Where You Can Serve
Children's Ministry, Youth Ministry, Worship and Music, Hospitality, Prayer and Care, and Outreach and Missions. Some believers are also called to step into leadership as a deacon or elder, and we want to help you prepare for that if God is leading you there.
What to Do Next
- 1Take one step of serving, even a small one.
- 2Talk with Pastor Jason about your gifts, passions, and where you might serve.
- 3Finish the Equip class and become a member of FBCG.
